Terms of Use

Use short links responsibly.

These terms set the rules for using CyberEasyShort, including guest shortening, optional accounts, dashboards, QR codes, and redirects.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using CyberEasyShort, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. Do not use the service if you do not agree. You must be legally permitted to use the service in your location and capable of complying with these terms.

2. What the service provides

The service can create short links that redirect to third-party destinations, generate QR codes, count link visits, and provide optional account and dashboard tools. Features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued to maintain security, reliability, or compliance.

A short link does not mean that we own, control, endorse, verify, or guarantee the destination website, content, product, service, or person behind it. Users should check destinations carefully before sharing or opening them.

3. Prohibited uses

You must not use the service to create, distribute, disguise, or promote links involving:

  • phishing, fraud, scams, deceptive login pages, or credential theft;
  • malware, ransomware, harmful downloads, exploit delivery, or unauthorized access;
  • spam, abusive automation, unsolicited bulk messages, or manipulation of traffic;
  • illegal goods, illegal services, unlawful content, or instructions intended to facilitate harm;
  • impersonation, harassment, threats, doxxing, or privacy violations;
  • copyright or trademark infringement, counterfeit materials, or unauthorized distribution;
  • content that exploits or endangers children;
  • attempts to bypass security controls, rate limits, account restrictions, or link-removal decisions.

4. Accounts and user responsibility

Accounts are optional for basic shortening. When you create an account, you are responsible for accurate information, a strong password, keeping credentials confidential, and all activity under the account. You must notify us if you believe the account has been accessed without permission.

You are responsible for confirming that you have the right to share each destination URL and that the destination remains lawful, safe, and accurate.

5. Link removal and account suspension

We may review, disable, delete, or restrict a short link or account when we reasonably believe it violates these terms, creates security or legal risk, has been reported as abusive, interferes with the service, or must be removed to comply with a lawful request. We may preserve relevant records when reasonably necessary for investigation, safety, or legal compliance.

To report a link, use the Report an Abusive Link page and provide enough detail for review.

6. Availability, warranties, and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent availability of a specific short code, error-free QR generation, continuous access to destination websites, or preservation of every link or account record.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by third-party destinations, user-created links, unavailable services, deleted links, unauthorized account access, or reliance on click statistics. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Intellectual property and changes

The service design, branding, and original website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property rules. You retain responsibility for the destination links and content you submit. These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms may be sent through the Contact page.
